Breakpoints #4
It’s almost Tet holiday here in Vietnam and I’m enjoying some wonderful carried-over leaves from last year. Here are some lovely articles/videos for this week:
I learnt how to write academically during college and I have always wondered why it must be so dry. I guess this is the answer.
I presume this would be me in the next 4 years (love it though!) Ever since I switch my career to being a software developer I always feel the lack of spare time to learn, but I guess I need to better organize my daily routine instead of wishing for having 48 hours a day.
This post by Coding Horror is rather old, but still holds so much value
Finally have some time for movies! We Live In Time is amazing and Cunk On Life is… as expected :)
I’m quite torn apart between going to college for formal education or learning what I want to learn on my own while working. At the moment I’m catering towards the latter because of this post
This is just beautiful. Hope it won’t be taken down.
No. The world is not falling apart. Sometimes I just love Youtube video recommendation algorithm. Yes, things are bad, awful even, but not everything. It takes strength to be an optimist.
I like the spirit: We do it just for the fun of it. No, really.
